Accepting these terms

These terms apply when you use the Precision Lehi Concrete and Masonry website or hire us for masonry or concrete work. By browsing our home page and the rest of this site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them.

If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site. You can still call us at (385) 338-6022 with any questions before you decide.

What we do

We're a masonry contractor in Lehi, UT, and we work on homes in Lehi and the cities around it. Our work includes foundation and brick repair, tuckpointing, chimney work, retaining walls, pavers, stone and veneer, block walls and other masonry and concrete projects.

The descriptions on this site are general. Every house is different, so the scope of your job is whatever we agree to in your written estimate or contract, not what a web page says. You can read more about our crew on the About page.

Estimates and pricing

We give free on-site estimates, and asking for one doesn't commit you to anything. An estimate is our best price for the work we can see and the materials we expect to use on the day we look at it.

Masonry often hides problems until the job is open, like crumbling brick behind a face, a cracked footing or water damage inside a wall. If we find something that changes the work or the cost, we stop and talk to you first, and we only go ahead once you approve the change.

Estimates are good for the period written on them. After that, material prices and our schedule may have changed, so we may need to update the number.

Scheduling, delays and cancellation

We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Dates can move because mortar and concrete need the right weather to cure, so freezing temperatures, heavy rain or high wind may push work back a day or more.

Delays can also come from material deliveries, permit or inspection timing, or conditions we couldn't see before the job started. We'll tell you as soon as we know the schedule is changing.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as early as you can by phone or through our Contact page. If we've already ordered special materials or started work, your contract explains what you'd owe for that.

Payment

Your written estimate or contract sets out how much is due and when, including any deposit and the final payment. Payment is due on the dates it lists.

If a payment is late, we may pause the work until it's settled. Unpaid balances may also be subject to collection and to any lien rights Utah law gives contractors.

Our work and warranties

We're licensed and insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the finished job isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it.

Any written warranty for your job is the one in your contract, and it covers only what it says. Apart from that and what the law requires, we don't make other promises about how long work will last, because brick, stone and concrete wear with weather, ground movement, drainage, water and use that we don't control.

Manufacturer warranties on products we install come from the maker, not from us. We'll pass along what we receive so you have it.

The information on this website is for general guidance. It isn't professional advice for your specific house, and we don't promise it's complete or always current.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Utah law allows, we're not responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, like lost use of your property or damage caused by things outside our work. That includes conditions that were already there, work done by others, and changes made after we finish.

If we are found responsible for a problem with our work, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

If we disagree

Most problems get solved with a phone call, so please talk to us first and give us a fair chance to make it right. Call (385) 338-6022 or reach us through the Contact page.

If we can't settle it between us, we both agree to try mediation before going to court, unless the matter has to be handled another way. Any lawsuit will be brought in the courts located in Utah.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one in effect. Changes don't alter a contract you've already signed with us unless we both agree in writing.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

Questions about these terms

If anything here is unclear, ask us before you book. Call (385) 338-6022 or send a note through our Contact page, and expect a reply within 1 business day.
